Carl Mark Williams LAYTON – Carl Mark Williams, 75, passed away Friday, November 9, 2007 at his home after a battle with cancer. He was born May 8, 1932 to William Verd and Nora Wall Williams in Layton, Utah. Carl married Paula Gene Blunt on January 26, 1951 in Evanston, Wyoming. He was a Residential Contractor and he built countless homes during his life including homes for his children and grandchildren. Carl loved spending time with his family. Camping and other family outings were important, especially their annual trip to Bear Lake. Surviving are his wife Paula of Layton; eight sons, Layne (Karen) Williams, Paul (Shauna) Williams, Tom (Sherrie) Williams, Cal ( Kathy) Williams, Wes (Stefanie) Williams, Clay (Theresa) Williams and Ryan Williams; six daughters, Shelley (Les) Gravis, Jackie (Fritz) Kelly, Leesa (Kris) Kays, Kathy Lupton, Wendy (Robert) Lane and Carrie (Kirt) Bosch; 41 grandchildren,33 great-grandchildren and still growing; three brothers, Verd Williams, Hal Williams and Lloyd Williams; two sisters, Florence Hohman and Alice Lewis. Preceded in death by a son Doug, two granddaughters and two brothers. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
