Carla Dell Hartman

Carla Dell Ross Hartman, loving wife, daughter, and sister, passed away peacefully at home, Wednesday, February 3, 2010 with her family and her dog, Dexter, at her side after her courageous battle with COPD, chronic bronchitis, and emphysema.

Carla was born March 5, 1956 to Carl and Beverly Dillion Ross in Vernal, Utah. She spent her childhood in both Vernal and Salt Lake City.

Carla married Randy Hartman in Roy, Utah on December 27th, 1991. She worked for Harts Cleaners and Blimpee Sandwich Shop in Roy, and Sperry Rail Service in Danbury, Connecticut.

Her great love for the out doors allowed her the opportunity to spend time with her husband Randy, and her dog Dexter, fishing from their boat. Some of her hobbies included, painting, sewing, and collecting antiques.

Carla is survived by her loving husband, Randy, of Roy UT; mother, Beverly Ross, of Vernal, UT; brother, Kirby Ross, of Vernal, UT; brother, Doug (Ruth) Ross of Vernal, UT; sister, Kathy Vanburen of Orangeville, UT; many nieces and nephews; and a step-daughter, Angela Thompson Klimczak.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Ross, and a sister, Carma Ross Holler.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, February 10th, at 1:00pm, at the Vernal Cemetery.

Family and friends may call, Monday, February 8th, from 6pm to 8pm at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S., Roy, UT.
