LuDeen Schrock, age 75, passed away peacefully at home on January 3, 2010. She was born August 17, 1934 in Ephraim, Utah to Grant Lund and Carla Jensine Nielsen Petersen. Growing up in Ogden she later went onto nursing school in the last class of the Thomas T. Dee Memorial Hospital. After graduating in 1955 she worked at the BYU Student Health Center, McKay Dee Hospital and Primary Children''s Medical Center, as well as provided help to neighbors whenever needed.

On February 28th, 1958 she married Alyric Ray in the Salt Lake Temple. Following his military career they settled in Kaysville in 1968. They were later divorced. She married Tom Schrock on June 29, 1996. She was an active member of the LDS church serving in the Primary, Relief Society and singing in the choir.

LuDeen is survived by her husband Tom, children Carla Ray of Salt Lake; Rick (Jan) Ray of Roy; Luci Dillin of West Jordan; Robin (Ray) Jaramillo of Layton; and foster daughter Laura Billy (Robert) Butterfield of Winnemucca, NV. Her grandchildren Flint (Ashley), Wyatt and Tucker Ray; Ryan (Paige), Jeremy and Rachael Dillin; Jordan and Sierra Jaramillo; and Sheridan Fortney, brothers Robert and Rex Petersen of Boise ID and Bryan Petersen of Sandy, UT along with one great-grandchild and one on the way. Preceding her in death are her parents, 3 brothers and her infant son David Alma Ray.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 11, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Kaysville 4th Ward Chapel, 875 E 200 N. Friends and family may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Monday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the church. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
