Carlos C. Trujillo

Carlos “Carl” C. Trujillo OGDEN – Carlos “Carl” Cirilo Trujillo, 52, died Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at his home in Ogden. He was born May 4, 1955 in Ogden, a son of Alberto Juan Sr. and Lucille Mascarenas Trujillo. Carl attended church at the Clearfield 2nd Ward and never denied his LDS beliefs. Carl was a good student getting straight A’s in English and Physical Education in junior high and high school. He graduated from Clearfield High School. Carl’s superior and little known talent was his passion for writing original verses of meaning and eternal letters of affection. Basketball was his desire and Carl’s soul mate was his music. Friends came easy to Carl and as they passed through his life, he had a story of each and every one. He found special qualities in each soul he chose to keep close. The memories of his friends lived on and the pain of friends moving on was shortened by his stories of them. Carl’s family was very special to him and he passed away without having the dream of all his family getting together at once. His nieces and nephews will always remember his creative and sometimes one line jokes. Carl knew his time was near and he cherished his family with handmade gifts and constant thanks of appreciation. Carl took time to put his final days in order. Carl, you are finally free of all your ailments. You are free of all your regrets and guilt’s of innocence. You are free of all your illness and that makes us all happy for you. Walk into the Heavens with your head held high and proud. You suffered greatly on earth to deserve that honor. You will be welcomed as one of the chosen children. What some people took as aggression, we know it was illness, and for this we are proud that you were a major part of our family. Your struggles are over. We love you and we will miss you. Surviving are two brothers and one sister, Nicholas R. (Heidi) Trujillo, Scott L. (Moe) Trujillo and Angela Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Albert Trujillo, Jr., two very special cousins, Shirley Ballinger and Danny Gonzales, and a brother-in-law, Allen Jones. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Family will meet friends at the mortuary on Monday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
