Carlos Valdez

Carlos Antonio Valdez passed away on October 21, 2014 in Ogden, Utah.  He was born November 2, 1958 in Etchojoa, Sonora, Mexico to Hector Manuel Valdez and Maria Lucia Moroyoqui.  On March 11, 1982 he married Maria G.Valdez and together they had 4 children.

Carlos was a loving family man and a dedicated grandfather.  He was known as a kind, good-hearted person.  He treasured every moment with his family.  He had the ability to see the value and beauty in people and things that others may have seen as common.  His family and friends will miss how Carlos would always share good advice, words of encouragement and help people feel motivated.

He is survived by his children, Karla, Carlos, Jesus, and Vanessa Valdez; and his siblings, Mario, Gladis and Hector Valdez.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit with family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 N. Fairfield Road.
