SYRACUSE a€" Carol G. Duncan, 63, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010 in Sandy, Utah.

She was born February 6, 1947 in Ogden, Utah the daughter of Max and LaVerne Bradley Kennedy.

Carol married Dale LeRoy Duncan on January 3, 1991 in the Salt Lake Temple.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she was active in many callings. Carol participated for years in a church sketch "Effie and Bea" with friend, Debbie College, traveling to many wards to share church messages laced with humor.

Surviving are her sons, Brett (Heather) Holbrook, Brady (Cinthya) Holbrook, her daughter, Marcie Owens, father, grandchildren, five step-children and their families, brother and sisters, John (Jo) Kennedy, Louise (Kelly) Middleton, and Nancy (Mark) Taylor.

Preceded in death by her husband Dale LeRoy Duncan, son, Brian Scott Holbrook, and mother, LaVerne Kennedy.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, West Point Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Alta Ridge Alzheimer''s Unit for their loving care of Carol and to Katy Monks who loved Carol like her own.
