Carol Yvonne Lamberson

September 4, 1930 ~ October 9, 2015

On the evening of Friday, October 9, 2015, Carol Yvonne Lamberson passed away with her son by her side, at age 85, suddenly of natural causes at her home in Treeo Senior Living. She was surrounded by her loving family and the community and staff at the Treeo.  Rocky Mountain Hospice and Home Care were also wonderful to assist us in caring for our beautiful mother.
Carol was born in Superior, Wyoming.   After graduating from high school, she moved to Salt Lake City and attended Holy Cross Nursing School. She then married the love of her life, Clare Lamberson.

Carol worked as a pediatric nurse at Saint Benedict's for over 38 years.   After retirement, Carol and Clare enjoyed many years of traveling. They especially loved train travel and spending time with family.  She loved gardening, reading, nature and traveling with her family.  Carol was a very generous, caring and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother and nurse. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

Carol Lamberson was preceded in death by her husband Clare, and her three brothers, Edward, Harold and Jack.  She is survived by her daughter Lori Keele; her son and his wife, Larry and Sandy Lamberson; four grandchildren, April, Neil, Todd and Adam; and four great-grandchildren, Gavin, Aria, Evan and Ocean.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 East 5550 South, Ogden.  The family will meet with friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden.
