RIVERDALE a€" Carol Anderton Latturner, died September 13, 2011. She was born on July 24, 1917 in Elsinore, Utah to James William and Clara Nunley Anderton. She married Alvin Sorenson on December 30, 1933. They later divorced. She married Bernard Latturner on May 11, 1941. He died January 16, 1985.

Mom lived a full and active life. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting with family and the grandchildren. After retirement, she enjoyed shopping with her daughters and occasional trips to Wendover. She enjoyed gardening and cooking meals for the family. Mom also enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles.

Survived by two daughters, Sandra (Vinton deceased) Hutchings, Calpine, California; Pat (George) Wager, North Salt Lake; one son Bud James (Kathy) Latturner, Riverdale, Utah, fifteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sister Sally Huffman, St. George, Utah; brothers, Ted Anderton, Salt Lake City, Utah; and Ronald (Buster) Anderton, St. George, Utah.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 North 400 East. Friends may visit with family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.

A special thanks to the care givers of Sara''s Garden In Chancellor Gardens of Clearfield. The family would like to thank Thatcher Brook Home Health and Hospice for their special care.
