She was born to Wallace Teuscher and Minerva Teuller in Montpelier, Idaho, but raised and educated through high school in Kemmerer, Wyoming. In high school Carol was the drum majorette and worked in the local drug store and for JC Penney’s. She met the “love of her life” Logan C. Mattson, during this time. Carol and Logan also served two LDS Missions, one at Hill Cumorah Pageant in Palmyra, NY and the other at Temple Square in Salt Lake City. Carol and Logan had two sons, Kyle (Leisa) (both deceased) and Rand (Cynthia), Roy, Utah.
Carol made friends easily, forgave quickly and lived a joyous life. She will be remembered for many things, including her thoughtful birthday phone calls to friends and family every year to share her quote of the year and chat.
Her husband, Logan; son, Rand; grandchildren, Blaire, Carly, Devin, Hayley (Jeff), and Whitney survive her.
