Carol Ann Saddler Murdock passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in Layton, Utah. She was born on April 9, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Elijah Edward and Bernice Saddler.

Carol graduated from Granger High School. She married Reed Osborne Murdock. She was a loving and supporting military wife of 17 years. Carol retired from Civil Service in 1995, to carry on her caregiver role. She volunteered her time and talents, working with the LDS Special Needs. She enjoyed shopping, baking, and caregiving.

Carol is survived by her husband, Reed Osborne Murdock; son, Ryan (Missy) Murdock; grandson, Daxton Murdock; and brothers, Richard (Connie) Saddler, Edward (Shauna) Saddler, and Robert (Vickie) Saddler. She was proceeded in death by daughter, Paula Jean Murdock; parents, Elijah Edward and Bernice Saddler, and sisters, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Rd. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 North Fairfield Road.
