Carol Naylin

Carol Virginia Reeder Naylin passed away on November 11, 2013 surrounded by family and friends. She was born to Frank and Mae Reeder on December 25, 1934 in Ogden, Utah.

She graduated from Ogden High School and married Richard "Dick" Naylin on February 8, 1952 in Ogden, Utah. Together they had 3 children whom she stayed home and raised. She then went on to many successful careers which included, Manager of European Health Spa, Northern Director of the March of Dimes, Supervisor of Med First Clinic, and then Director for billing at North Davis Hospital. She was always successful and her employees loved her.

Carol enjoyed Weber State Athletic games, the symphony, plays, Camanae, and being active.

Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She loved to shop with Kensley and go to the movies with Kestin. She also babysat her great-grandchildren on a weekly basis. She was always present for any of their events.

Carol is survived by her son, Scott; daughter, Wendy (Jodi); five grandchildren, Gentry Naylin, Tasia (Chris) Allen, Cody Micah Naylin, Kensley Moss (Jason), and Kestin Page; and five great-grandchildren, Aubryn, Milo, Aniston, Avery, and Brynnlie; sister, Judy Khilstrom, Ogden, UT; brother, Alan Reeder, Eugene, OR; and soul-sister, Annette Terry, Ogden, UT.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" Naylin; her son, Randal David Naylin of Ogden, and her parents.

She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear forever friend.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
