Carol O. Reed OGDEN – Carol Owens Reed, 57, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Ogden Regional Medical Center. She was born May 6, 1952 in Ogden, a daughter of Melvin and Priscilla Welch Owens. Carol married Thomas D. Reed, Sr., on July 27, 1967 in Slaterville, Utah. She loved the outdoors, camping, and yearly trips to Wendover. Carol was a devoted, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a friend to all. Surviving are her husband and soul mate of 42 years, Thomas; three sons, Tom Jr. (Sara) Reed, Bryan (Michelle) Reed and Steve (Amanda) Reed; and five grandchildren, Ashley, Keylee, D.J., Alex and David. She was preceded in death by her one son, David, her parents, one sister and three brothers. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery. “Life’s journey doesn’t end with death.
