Carol Janet Davies Ruesch, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and compassionate friend to so many, passed away peacefully at her Centerville home on March 31, 2021, surrounded by her loving family..

Carol was born in Portland Oregon to Oliver Truex and Myra Baer Davies.  Carol moved to Utah where she graduated from Davis High School and was a long time resident of Bountiful.  She met and married Keith LeRoy Ruesch and began a love affair that would last a lifetime.  They spent most of their married life in Las Vegas, NV before moving back to Utah. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she served throughout the years in many roles that included teaching, Relief Society President in both the Ward and the Stake and as Primary President.  Her most prized role was Compassionate service as she provided food and comfort to many, many, families over the years. Carol had a beautiful angelic voice and loved to sing.  She could decorate a wedding cake like no other.

Carol is survived by her loving and long time (64 ½ years, no less) spouse, Keith LeRoy Ruesch;  her children, Keith H. Ruesch and Falecia Wilson of Huntsville, Utah, Brenda Stoney of Farmington, Utah, Wendy and Joseph Stevens of Fruit Heights, Utah, Chad O. Ruesch, (deceased) , Troy and Irma Najera of Aliso Viejo, California, Allen and Pat Parrish of Kayenta, Utah; grandchildren, John Paul and Michelle Turkovich, Jennifer Shelton, Danielle and Justin Wesselman, Josh Tumbleson, Kendra Colson and Konnor Stoney, Amy and Tyler Mason, Carly and Greg Cerven, Amanda and Eric Hegdahl and Megan and Timothy Clark, Chasen and Haley Ruesch, Jade Ruesch, Tavin Ruesch, Ayla Ruesch, Jessica and River Smith; Tawnya and Josh Begay, Natalie and Dwayne Redhair and Nelson and Kirstie Parrish.  She is also survived by her precious brothers and sisters and their spouses who are very close to her and her children:  Myrla Lee Valentine, (who preceded her in death), Barbara and Robert Watson, David and Jeannie Davies, John and Carolee Davies, Diana and Paul Halliday, Dean and Darla Davies, and Debra and Lynn Cheney.  She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Oliver Truex and Myra Baer Davies.

A Memorial Service is being held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 North 400 East, Bountiful, Utah 84010.   The Service will also be live streamed indefinitely on the Lindquist web page by scrolling to the bottom of this obituary page.

**The family wishes to offer thanks to Suzie’s Senior Companionship and Symbii Home Health and Hospice who have cared for Carol and our family with such love and dedication.
