Carol Jean Walker

Our loving wife, mother, friend, Carol Jean Walker, 71, passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, August 4, 2013 after a year-long valiant battle with lung cancer.

She was born to Arthur and Helen Thiel on July 15, 1942 in Dietrich, Idaho.

She married Lynn H. Walker on February 12, 1966 in Dietrich, Idaho.

She is survived by her husband Lynn H. Walker, her children Robert Walker and Jennifer (Frank) Tom, Layton.

What moves through us is a silence, a great sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories to beautiful to forget.

A special thanks to the Huntsman Cancer Institute and especially the staff of Inspiration Hospice. A special thanks to Amy and Rachel for their care, as well as all the other healthcare workers.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 9, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main. Friends may visit family Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
