Carol Taylor Williams, 73, passed away December 13, 2012, at her home in Woods Cross, Utah, surrounded by her family. Daughter of Pleasant Green and Evelyn Taylor, she was born on December 18, 1938, in San Francisco, California. The family moved to San Carlos, California, in 1947 where she attended school and graduated from Carlmont High School.

She married Robert L. Williams on March 13, 1965, and they were later sealed in the Oakland Temple on June 27, 1975. They had two children; Julie Leah Cummings and Scott Taylor Williams.

Carol loved being a mother, grandmother and a homemaker. She was an avid reader and enjoyed collecting recipes and cook books. Carol loved people and once you became friends, you were her friend for life and she always kept in touch. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and especially loved serving in the Primary with the children. She and her husband Bob served 6 years as service missionaries in the Conference Center in downtown Salt Lake City.

She is survived by her husband, Bob, daughter Julie Leah Cummings (Gordon), son Scott Taylor Williams (Katrina), sister Sue Heywood (Ernie), brother Jim Taylor (Judy), along with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 22, at the Woods Cross 10th Ward Chapel 1335 W. 1500 S. Woods Cross, UT. Friends may visit on Friday, December 21 from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary 727 N. 400 E. and from 10-10:45 a.m. on Saturday, prior to the services at the church.
