Carol Ann Winn November 3, 1944 ~ February 20, 2021.  Our loving mother, “Nana”, great-grandmother, sister and friend, passed away from this life to peacefully return to her Father in Heaven, and to be reunited with her grandson and best friend, Taylor and her family that has passed away before her.

Carol was born on November 3, 1944 in Roosevelt, Utah to John Orson and Bessie (Long) Winn. Carol was the 3rd of 8 children. She grew up in Roosevelt until she was a teenager and then her family moved to Provo, UT where she graduated from Provo High School in 1963.

As a Financial Analyst, Carol was a “go getter” and was known for her attention to detail and working with numbers along with her strong work ethic. Her hobbies included dancing, listening to music, crocheting, shopping and spoiling her grandchildren. She was most proud of her children and grandchildren and loved to help others.

She is survived by her two daughters, Rachelle (Leki) Kauvaka, Kelly (Salam) Mahi; her sisters, LaRae Hoggard, Janet Howcroft, and Sheila (Richard) Brannon; 5 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first grandchild and best friend, Taylor Kauvaka; brothers, Albert Winn, Ricky Winn, Norman Winn, and Larry Winn; parents John and Bessie (Long) Winn.

Services will be held at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. Bountiful, Utah, on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 11:00 am.  There will be a viewing at Lindquist’s on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 5:00-7:30 pm and on Saturday morning from 9:30-10:45 am. Interment will follow at Bountiful City Cemetery.
