Carol Urie Woodbury

December 12, 1924 ~ October 2, 2014

Our hearts were saddened at the loss of our mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Carol Urie Woodbury, 89.  Carol was born on December 12, 2014 in Cedar City, Utah, the daughter of Thomas Roy and Winnifred Parry Urie.

She married Clive D. Woodbury on May 11, 1947 in Cedar City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple in November 1963.  Clive passed away on August 15, 2004.

Carol is survived by her children, David S. (Diane), Paul C. (Doris), Robert U. (Karen), James R, Patricia (Mike) Hegland, and Marcia Lynn; and sister, Barbara Bergstrom.

The world shines a little less bright with her passing on Thursday, October 2, 2014.  We’ll miss her sweet smile and her love of children.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Lewis Stake Center, 1130 N. Monroe Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
