NORTH OGDEN a€" Carol Zimmerman passed away Friday, February 1, 2008, at her home.

She was born February 9, 1945 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and attended Valley High School.

Carol met and married Roy L. Zimmerman. They have been married 40 years. Together they raised two children, Kari and Lyle (Barney).

She loved spending time with her family and friends; solving difficult levels of crossword puzzles and Suduko, playing board games, bookkeeping, traveling and gardening.

Carol and Roy were long time residents of Brigham City, Utah where Carol managed the bowling alley where she was very active in the bowling community and had many friends. She had learned sign language and enjoyed her work with Special Education bowlers. She is most remembered for her contagious smile and her unending determination to beat cancer.

Carol is survived by her husband, Roy, North Ogden; a daughter, Kari (Buzz) Biernacki, Placitas, NM; a son, Lyle "Barney" (Lawna) Oldfield, Easley, SC; two grandchildren, Kylie Oldfield and Blake Oldfield, both of Easley, SC; and a brother, Jim (Sally) Huffman, Tucson, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Delphia Gragg Huffman, her father, James Lewis Huffman, and a brother, Ronald Huffman.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 5th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd.

Friends and family may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., at the mortuary.

Interment, Sunset Memorial Park, Albuquerque, NM on Friday, February 8, 2008.
