Caroldene Savage Atkinson Craythorne

Caroldene Savage Atkinson Craythorne, 81, returned to her Heavenly Father and awaiting loved ones on Wednesday, November 29, 2017.

Carol was born on December 31, 1935 in Brigham City, Utah, a daughter of Delomb Fish and Emmett Savage.

She married Darrell Atkinson in the Logan LDS Temple in June 1953.  After Darrell passed away, she married Ben Craythorne.

Carol was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She enjoyed spending time with her family.  She loved her animals, camping, the outdoors, watching sports on TV, jigsaw puzzles, and computer games.

Surviving are her children: Deborah (Vincent) Coon, Salt Lake; Connie (Kay) Fedderson, Layton; Michael Atkinson, San Antonio, Texas; Janna Atkinson, Layton; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  Also survived by Ben’s children, Richard (Patsy) Craythorne, Ann (Jon) Little; Kelly (Ginia) Craythorne. Siblings; Gwen Richardson and Lynn Savage.

Preceded in death by parents, husbands; Darrell Atkinson and Ben Craythorne. Sisters; Anna Mae Savage, Betty Johns, Idabelle Sanders, and Lois Hugie.  Grandchildren; Katie, Keri and Curtis Fedderson.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Hyrum Cemetery, Hyrum, Utah.  Friends may visit family Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Humane Society.
