Carolyn Doxey Bell

Carolyn Doxey Bell passed away on March 2, 2013, in Logan, Utah. She was born in Ogden, Utah to Darrell and Marlene Doxey on December 4, 1957. She leaves behind her husband, Kurtis, and her three children, Justin, Lindsey, and Michael. She will be joining her brother, Dale, and her long missed daughter, Amanda in heaven.

She graduated from Ogden High School in 1976. She married her best friend and soul-mate, Kurtis Bell, on July 2, 1976. Kurtis and Carolyn lived in Ogden, UT, San Diego, CA, Pocatello, ID, Little Rock, AR, and Logan, UT.

Carolyn had a long career with the Internal Revenue Service and the Logan City School District. She loved working with all the kids at Mount Logan Middle School, even contributing from her own pocket to make sure they had a smile on their face.

She had a love for animals, every pet she owned was rescued from a shelter. She also had a love for cooking and enjoyed reading cookbooks.

Those who truly knew Carolyn saw her genuine kindness and loving heart. She will be greatly missed.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
