Carolyn "Lyn" Loretta Tuttle

Carolyn ”Lyn” Tuttle, loving mother and grandmother, passed away Friday September 22, 2023 in Layton, Utah.  She was born September 4, 1939 in Manchester, New Hampshire to William F. and Annette Coolidge Marshall.

She married her high school sweetheart Charles Eugene Tuttle on July 12, 1958 in Milford, New Hampshire.  Together they had three children, Pam, Allen, and Dan. They were stationed with the Air Force in New Mexico and California before coming to Hill Air Force Base as a family making their home in Layton, Utah.

Lyn was employed by the Davis County School District as a librarian and media coordinator for 30 years.

She is survived by her children, Pam (Karl) and Dan; and her grandson Jackson (Lizzie); and two great-granddaughters who were the love of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles and her son Allen.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Rose of  Lima

Catholic Church, 210 Chapel Street, Layton, Utah.  Friends may visit with family Friday September 29 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.  A vigil with Rosary will be held beginning at 7:00 p.m.
