Carrie D. Morse
RIVERDALE – Carrie Denice Morse passed from man’s hand to God’s hand on Saturday, June 5, 2010, following many years of suffering from numerous medical conditions.
Carrie was born August 5, 1969, in Ogden, to Nancy Porter and Wayne L. Morse. She grew up in Layton and Clearfield.
Her pride and joy was her son, Joshua, and in being his mother. Her favorite saying to him was “Forever and always my baby you’ll be.”
She was well known for her loyalty and her generous spirit of giving to others, and she loved to surprise and spoil her nieces and nephews. She also loved the cinema. This and much more will be missed dearly by all.
Carrie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Riverdale 2nd Ward.
She is survived by her mother, Nancy P. Morse, Riverdale, UT; two sisters, Deborah Wilcox-Vincent (niece Hannah, nephews Andrew and Bruce) and Heather Stoneberg (niece Kailei).
She was preceded in death by her much-loved son, Joshua Wayne Morse, and her father, Wayne Leslie Morse.
Per Carrie’s wishes, a memorial service will be held Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 4 p.m. at the Riverdale 2nd Ward Chapel, 5500 South 1175 West, Riverdale.
