Carey Blaine Dopp, 56, our loving husband, father, brother , papa and friend lost his battle with cancer Monday, November 26, 2007 surrounded by his loving family and wife of 33 years.

He was born in Ogden, UT September 28, 1951 to Orlin Blaine and Dorius Barrus Dopp. He was the eldest of nine brothers and sisters. He married Penni Heszler on February 2, 1974, in Ogden, UT. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. December 17, 1976.

He graduated from Ogden High Class of 1969. He then attended Career Academy in San Francisco graduating in the field of Dental technology. He later attended Denver Community College. He graduated from S.L. Technical College in Barbering in 1976. While in Denver he worked for Glen Mowery at Rocky Mountain Dental Lab. Glen was like a second Dad to him. He then moved back to Ogden where he worked for Great Basin Dental Lab and then for Dr. Delos Adams at Laboratory Techniques, He went from there to own and operate Rocky Mountain Dental Ceramics. He worked for many dentists including Dr. Jeffery Favero, Dr. David and Dr. Steven Christensen. He enjoyed working as a Dental Technician.

He loved to fish; he had three special fishing buddies Clayton Jones, Ron Reddish and his brother Judd. He also loved taking his children and grandchildren fishing. It was great fun teaching them to fish. He loved skiing with his son Michael and they went on many skiing trips together. He was an avid tennis player, playing in many community tennis tournaments, He also loved playing Saturday basketball with all of his friends. He loved traveling, especially going to Yellowstone. He loved spending time with his family and playing with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Penni, son Michael Christopher (Kristin) Dopp; daughter Jennifer Erin (Matt) Hepworth; seven grandchildren: Kaden, Parker and Gavin Carey Dopp; Bryan, Molli, Haili and Elli Hepworth; his eight brothers and sisters, Rodney (Lynae) Dopp, Annette (Chuck) Vaughn, Lillian Dopp, Kyle (Peggy) Dopp, Selma Peck, Josie (Boyd) Moffett, Judd (Kathleen) Dopp, Sidney Dopp and many friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 11 a.m. at La Donna Mesa Ward, 2375 E. 3225 N., Layton, UT. Friends and family may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the church. Funeral arrangements under the direction of indquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, Ogden, UT.
