Layton a€" Caryol Edna Timms Wiser (73), loving wife, mother, grandma and great grandma passed away Sunday, April 28 2013.

Caryol was born Oct. 26 1939 at LDS Hospital in SLC to Edna Lucille Nalder and Stanley C. Timms. Caryol was an only child. She married Gary Langston in 1960 and they were later divorced. She married Brant M. Wiser, Oct. 10, 1971 and was later sealed in the SLC Temple to her husband, Brant, and two children, Marci and David.

Caryol graduated from Davis HS and attended Weber State College. She worked at H.A.F.B. for 14 years as a computer programmer. She later worked at the Layton Police Department for 13 years.

Caryol was the matriarch who brought endless love and inspiration to her family. She loved family gatherings, camping, fishing, reading, sodoku, crossword puzzles and LOVED spending time with her grandchildren. Caryol was an inspiration to all and anyone who met her knew of her genuine love and kindness. Her spiritual strength and drive lived on in Caryol throughout her whole life. She set an example to everyone with her patience and unconditional love.

Caryol is survived by her husband Brant, children Brad (Becky) Langston, Lori (Elwin) Wardle, David Langston, Marci (Keith) Cunningham, 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Jacob.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 3, 2013 at 11 am at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
