Casey Jay Stephens, 23, passed away Saturday, September, 20, 2014.

He was born November 9, 1990 in Ogden, Utah, a son of Randall Jay Stephens and Verla Jan Stephens and Debra Irene Koerner. Casey lived in Utah and California. He was a graduate of Weston Ranch High School.

In his younger years he was a member of the Boy Scouts. He enjoyed basketball, golf, small engine repair, building bikes and go-carts. He loved exploring possibilities and turning them into treasures.

Casey is survived by his father, Randall J. (Jan) Stephens, his mother, Debra White; two brothers, Jes Vollmer, Christopher Fromeyer; four sisters, Tiffany Thompson, Elisha Rose, Shaylee Stephens, Brittney Fromeyer; grandparents, Mona Marie Stephens, Harold Jay (Sharyn) Stephens and aunt, Wendy True.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorothy Lorraine Dallinga, Richard Dallinga, Harold Stephens and Esther Stephens.

Casey was loved by everyone who met him. His personality was magnetic and he made everyone feel better. His desire was that we all love each other more.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 27th at the Wilson Ward Chapel, 2314 South 2700 West, West Haven. Prior to the services, the family will meet with friends from 12:30 to 1:30 at the church.
