Cassidee Linz-Marie Bruce
Cassidee Linz-Marie Bruce, 25, passed away March 17, 2021.
She was born June 17, 1995 the daughter of Gary Lee and Sandra Dee Wilmot Bruce in Layton, Utah.
From the day she was born, Cassee was a fighter. She did not let being born a preemie hold her back. Through numerous health issues, she graduated high school and because of Cassee’s passion for old cars, she graduated from auto mechanic school with the goal of working for Ford automotive company.
Cassee’s greatest joy was riding horses. It was the highlight of her week taking horse riding lessons, which would bring a smile of joy to her face. She spoke of every horse as if it was her own. She knew all the little details, colors, and each horse’s individual personality. It’s all she would ever talk about and she would tell anyone who would listen all about her day riding horses.
She loved animals, always needing to have her kitties and doggies around. She would love to go to the duck ponds and would stay all day if she could.
She loved fishing, arts, and crafts to include painting and woodworking. She loved to write poetry and cooking. Cassee was a kind young lady with a compassionate heart, loving to help others in need, and was the caregiver to her mother and Oma. She was a selfless person who put others before herself. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
Survived by her father Gary Bruce, mother Sandee Bruce, brother Brandon Bruce and OMA Hiltrud Wilmot.
Preceded in death by her grandparents, George Wilmot, Ray Bruce and Sharon Bruce.
