Catherine "Cathy" Ann Seager

Catherine Ann “Cathy” Seager, born on August 9, 1936, passed away on October 24, 2023.

Cathy is survived by her son, Edward Gene “Eddie” Seager and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Edward and Vera Aileen Batchelor George; older brothers, John, Robert and Phillip; and younger sister, Rachel “Rae” Van Leuven.

Cathy lived and worked her entire life in Ogden, Utah. She had several successful careers including working at the Ogden Defense Depot. Her most satisfying position was being a healthcare aide giving comfort and companionship to elderly residents in nursing homes in the Ogden area.

Cathy’s last few years were spent in assisted living and then rehabilitation centers after suffering several strokes. The family wishes to thank the staff at Beehive Homes of Herriman for their compassionate care during her last few months.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
