Catherine Louise “Ouise” McNally passed away on December 14, 2013. She is now reunited with her little sister.
Louise was born on May 4, 1920 in Deeth, Nevada to Patrick Francis and Hazel McDermott McNally.
She lived in a box car house when very young as her family traveled so her father could inspect the safety of the tracks of the Southern Pacific Railroad.

The family transferred to Ogden with the railroad and she attended St. Joseph’s School and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy.
Louise’s first and longest job was with Kresses. She began in the office rising to eventually become the manager. She really ran the store all along and was greatly admired and respected. When the store closed, she went to work for the Ogden City Schools in Accounts Payable eventually retiring from this position. She made many wonderful friends there.
Louise loved sewing and baking. She made many beautiful clothes for her family. Her lace cookies are legendary and no one can make them as good as she.
She was a great lady with a commanding presence and a beautiful sense of style.
Louise never married but loved her nieces and nephews, step-nieces and step-nephews, and step-greatnieces and step-greatnephews, Jil Morby, Marisa Morby; John, Angie, and Charlie Morby; Patrick McNally, Kathleen McNally; David and Linda Schoss; Jennifer, Bob, Kayla, Dane and Tyler Durrant; Matt, Cheryl, Garrett, Jack, Cooper and Molly Schoss; Heather, Jay, Justin and Jordan Jacobs; Heidi and Tony Gibson; Melany and Wade Hillstead.
