December 23, 1947 ~ April 24, 2017

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt Catherine “Cathy” Morris White, 69, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on December 23, 1947 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Douglas and Fielda Morris.  Graduated from Roy High School.

On April 12, 1968 Cathy married Dennis White in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She lived in Plain City most of her life.

Cathy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served many callings.  Currently serving in Primary, Dennis and Cathy just celebrated their 49th Wedding Anniversary.  Cathy loved to attend NFR in December, plays at Tuacahn, and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband, Dennis White, Plain City; children, Daren White, Brigham City; Eric (Traci) White, Farr West; Amy (Tony) Byington, Hooper; and Cody White, Plain City; ten grandchildren, Aspen, Jayden, Taylor, Hudson, Kylee, Makayla, Tyson, Austin, Reese, and Kenzie.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Fielda Morris.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th St., Ogden.  Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Plain City 4th Ward, 2235 North 4350 West and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

The family would like to thank the staff at McKay Dee Hospital for going above and beyond in taking care of our wife and mother.
