Cathy McCrary

Our guardian angel, Cathy McCrary, has returned home to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 24, 2007 at LDS Hospital.

She was born September 7, 1961 in Ogden, Utah to William Jay and Ruth Bonnell Seaver. She was raised and educated in Clearfield and later in West Point.

On July 17, 1981, Cathy married her eternal companion, Dale John McCrary in the Ogden LDS Temple. They made their home in Syracuse.

As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she served in the Young Women''s, Sunday School and Primary organizations.

Cathy owned and operated Island Oasis in Syracuse. She loved spending time with her family on Bear Lake and at home. She enjoyed cross-stitching and shared her talents with those she loved. Most of all she enjoyed being with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.

Cathy is survived by her husband, Dale; four children, Chauntel (Christian) Greenwald, Morgan; Dale (Jenne) McCrary, Clearfield; Chalese (Ryan) Buelo, Clinton; Tyson McCrary, Syracuse; three grandchildren, Braxton Greenwald, Shayla McCrary, Parker Buelo; her parents, Bill and Ruth; her in-laws, Freeman and Betty McCrary; and her siblings, Jay Seaver, Mary Lynn Thurgood, Jana Schofield, Rob Seaver, Jennifer Burton, Kristin Kippen.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, a sister, Sherry Seaver and a beloved aunt, Marge.

A special thanks to Dr. Michael Schaelling for all the years of love and care, the McCrary family loves you dearly.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 28th at 11 a.m. at the Homestead Stake Center, 2339 West 1900 South, Syracuse.

Friends and family may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at the Stake Center.

Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery.
