Cathy Marie Contreras Miller, 62, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016.  She was born on June 5, 1953 in Ogden, UT and born to Pete and Consuelo Najera and adopted and raised by Paul and Gloria Gallegos Contreras.

She married Billy Gene Miller on January 5, 2004, in Ogden, Utah.

Cathy enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, and camping.  She loved cooking and baking.  She also enjoyed drawing.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Cathy is survived by her husband; children, Michelle (Jesse), David (Aimee), and Leon; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way; stepfather, John Garcia; brothers, Pete Najera, Gilbert Najera, Tony Najera, and Steven Najera;  and sisters, Juanita (Ramon) Sierra, Bonnie (Manuel) Martinez, Ampero (Rafael) Vega, Maxine (Eric) Ortega, Elena (Cirilo) Cano, Ida Contreras, Sonja Beauvais, and Vicki (Gerald) Padilla.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Eddie Najera and Lupe Najera.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24th, Ogden.  Friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
