Charlene “Chuck” Warner Boam

Charlene “Chuck” Warner Boam, 94 passed away peacefully on May 20, 2018 in Kaysville due to incidence of age.
She was born on July 5, 1923 in Ogden, Utah to Frank Warner and Hazel Williams. She graduated from Ogden High School in 1941. While attending Weber College she worked at Becker’s Brewery, when a dashing young man by the name of Donald Boam came in to the Brewery in full Army uniform. She then told a co-worker “I am going to marry that man.” She later proposed marriage to Don at Mirror Lake. They were married in Ogden, Utah on December 8, 1945.
Chuck is survived by her two sons, Kent W. Boam from Kaysville and Greg W. Boam from Eugene, Oregon. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Chuck is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all of the staff at the Villa’s at Baer Creek and Envision Hospice and Home Health for all of the loving care they provided.

Celebration of her life will be held at on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
