Charlene Edith Stuart

1930 ~ 2016

Charlene was born on February 28, 1930 in Ogden, Utah, the only child of Joseph Robert Paxton and Winifred Myrtle Gray.  She married Ronald E. Stuart.  They raised their family in Roy, Utah and later moved to Clinton, Utah.

Charlene was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She served many years in the Primary organization and is beloved of a generation of children.  She loved singing, her dogs, camping, riding motorcycles, scrapbooks, and being with family.

She is survived by her husband, three sons, Douglas (Linda), Russell (Ruth), and Brian (Sandra); two daughters, Sherry (Allen) and Cindy (Jeff); 10 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Clinton 21st Ward Chapel, 1828 North 3000 West.  Friends may visit with family on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.  Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary.
