Charlene B. Udink

Charlene passed away very unexpectedly on Monday December 16th, 2019. She was born January 23rd, 1967 in Ogden Utah. She was the second daughter born to C. Eldon and Beverly F. Bailey. On May 23rd, 1986, she married her best friend and the love her life, Curtis. Together they raised a family of two wonderful children, Travis Read Udink and Bailee Jo Udink-Barnett. They built a home in Clinton, Utah in 1993 and filled it with many wonderful memories. One of her greatest joys in life was her three beautiful grandsons. William Hunter Udink, Oliver Jason Udink and Andrew Read Davis Udink.
Charlene graduated with high honors from Weber High School class of 1985 and continued her education at Weber State University finishing as a Radiology Technician specializing in MRI. She worked at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful for 30 years where she fostered many special relationships and grew to love her job immensely.
Charlene loved to go camping, hiking and spending time outdoors with family and friends. She enjoyed golfing. She also enjoyed cooking. You often found her preparing an enormous spread of exotic delicacies. No one left hungry. She was such a perfectionist, everything had to meet her specific expectations. She was very smart and well spoken. She was the family go-to for anything medical related.
Charlene is survived by her very devoted and loving husband of 33 years, Curtis. Her two wonderful children Travis and Bailee (Kasie). Her three very special grandsons Wil, Oliver and Drew. Her three best friends and also her sisters JaneAnn, Kara and Dawnell. Preceded in death by her father and mother Eldon and Beverly.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday December 21, 2019 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
