KAYSVILLE a€" Charles Davis Bremer, 46, passed away Monday, December 29, 2008 of a stroke. He was born April 1, 1962 to George D. and Norda Bremer. Charles was raised and lived in Kaysville, a member of the Kaysville 1st Ward of the LDS Church.

Charles was a natural artist; a graduate of Davis High School, 1980 and of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia, 1991. His life was fulfilled by his art and he cared not if it was marketable, only that it pleased him. Charles was an insatiable reader. He educated himself in any skill, craft or discipline that caught his fancy. He enjoyed all the arts, appreciating Bach to Basie and greatly admired the intelligence, wit and vocabulary of William F. Buckley Jr.

As a good son, he was the personal caregiver to both our parents through their elderly years; as a brother, he was the closest and dearest friend and to his nephew he was the most loving and attentive uncle.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, George D. and Norda Bremer and older brother George A. Bremer. He is survived by his brother David (Tamy Meacham) and nephew Erik Bremer of Kaysville. Along with the Walt Meacham family, who made him one of their own.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 2, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. Friends and family may call Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to assist with burial.
