Charles Vernon Chadwick, 60, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2009 at his home.

He was born May 17, 1949 in Tremonton, Utah to Edward Earl and Elaine Steed Chadwick. He was raised and educated in Ogden, graduating from Ben Lomond High school.

On January 19, 1968, Chuck married Stephanie Johnson in Ogden, Utah.

He was employed as an airplane mechanic at Hill Air Force for 28 years.

Chuck was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, yard work and especially time spent with his family.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Stephanie; two sons and four daughters, Sharon Chadwick (Vincent), Charles and (Nicole) Chadwick, Scott Chadwick (Marci), Jodine Swaner (Serg), Nichole Chadwick (Sheldon) , Alisha Chadwick (Brandon); 17 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; four brothers, Neal (Debbie) Chadwick, Randy (Nancy) Chadwick, Ron (Tammy) Chadwick, Lon (Kathleen) Chadwick; four sisters, Trena (Brent) McCloy, Star Terry, Skyla (Bret) Pace, Leann (Kerry) Barker; his in-laws, Arthur L. and Beverly Johnson; four brothers-in-law, Evan (Deonna) Johnson, Dan (Ruth) Johnson, Kenney Johnson, Art (Sue) Johnson,and two sisters-in-law, Debbie (Dan) Hastings and Carolyn Johnson.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Chadwick, parents, Edward and Elaine, sister, Clarene Chadwick, mother-in-law, Evelyn Burr and two brother-in-laws, Arthur Daniel Johnson and David Wayne Johnson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 31st at 11 a.m. at the Roy 26th Ward Chapel, 3649 West 4800 South.

Friends and family may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church house.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
