Charles W. Ebaugh NORTH OGDEN – Charles William “Bill” Ebaugh, 83, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Manor Care Nursing Center in South Ogden, following a long battle with emphysema. Bill was born May 31, 1925 in Superior, Nebraska, a son of Albert Lee and Mildred Law Ebaugh. He married his wife, Shirley Daily, on June 21, 1947 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Bill retired from the Utah Transit Authority as a supervisor trained in accident investigation. He enjoyed post retirement as a bus driver for Weber State University for several years. Bill leaves behind his beloved wife, Shirley, and their daughter, Julie and Ed Reese, their grandchildren, Todd, Mike, Phillip, Kyle, Crystal, Beckie, Dawn, and Shawn, along with 13 great-grandchildren. His children, Kay and Terry, preceded him in death. A heartfelt thank-you to the gang at Vista Care Hospice Services: Christie, Leslie, and Bridgett; your care and compassion will never be forgotten. Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Ben Lomond Cemetery in North Ogden. Family and friends may gather at 1646 North 2850 West in Plain City between 1 and 4 p.m. following the graveside services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Primary Children’s Medical Center, 100 North Medical Drive Salt Lake City, Utah 84113.
