Charles Ronald Kingston

Ron Kingston passed away at his home on August 14, 2021. He was born on April 17, 1939, to his loving parents, Clarence and Viva Kingston. Ron grew up with three brothers and two sisters. He graduated from Weber High School and had spent his life living in Taylor, Utah.
Ron’s avid love for horses started at the young age of 5 years old, when he was given his first horse. He continued living an equestrian lifestyle throughout his life by participating in horse related activities such as horse racing, roping, barrel racing, and horse breeding. Ron was also a member of the Quarter Horse Association. Ron would form a deep connection with horses, they brought a sense of calm and peace to his life.
Ron grew up knowing the importance of hard work and dedication. His work ethic was one that he was known for. Ron worked in construction and was a heavy equipment operator, welder, builder, among many other trades. He believed that no matter what profession you find yourself in, a strong work ethic will keep your career moving upward. He would find a personal satisfaction and deep fulfillment after completing a project and/or getting a job done. You could always find Ron, up until his passing, out on his property taking care of the horses and working.
Ron loved living in Utah and appreciated the beauty around him. He enjoyed being outdoors and would participate in activities such as hunting and camping.
Ron was a proud member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ron mentioned how he was looking forward to being reunited with the love of his life, Darla, his daughter Lisa, and his granddaughter Rhonda.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
