Charles Duane Wickhamshire (Wickham)
Charles Duane Wickhamshire “Chuck” born January 6, 1939 passed away in the early morning hours of December 21, 2014 of natural causes at the age of 75. Chuck was born in Falls City, Nebraska, to John Henry Wickham and Emma Eva Peck.
Chuck worked at the Trane Company for many years as a machinist and retired from Western Spiral Pipe and Fittings. He absolutely loved what he did for a living and the people he worked with. He was also a proud member of the LDS Church.
Chuck married Alice Marie Hardman on December 31, 1957. They had three children; Emma Jeanne Wickham, Patricia Kaye Wickham (Headley) and Charles Duane Wickham, Jr.
Chuck married Barbara Jeanne Van Dam in May of 1969, and later married in the LDS Temple, they celebrated 45 years together. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; their children; Mark Wickhamshire (Jack), Steve Wickhamshire, Chris Neal (Rich) and children Emma Jeanne Wickham, Patty Headley (Cory), and Charley Jr. He is also survived by six siblings, Tom Wickham, Joe Eckley, Shirlyn Richards, John Norman Wickham, Edna Ruth Wickham and Laura Jane Wickham Rockis and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by eight siblings, his parents, former wife Alice and son Jeff Wickhamshire.
Gravesides services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Dr. Friends may visit with family from 9:30 – 11:30 am at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. prior to graveside services.
