Charlotte Whitesides Beck our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the age of 90.
Charlotte was born September 30, 1927 in Ogden, Utah to Alice and Ferris Whitesides.
She graduated from Davis High School in 1945. At Utah State she met James S. Beck they were married April 6, 1947. James passed away 21 years ago.
She and James served three missions, Virginia, Bristol, England and Dallas LDS Temple. She has served a total of 29 years of temple work in the Ogden, Dallas and Bountiful Temples.
Charlotte loved quilting, canning fruits and jams, gardening and being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved serving missions and working in the Temple, traveling, to visit her children and fun places.
Charlotte loved people. She is a treasure!
She is survived by seven children, Gregory (Jolynn), Afton, WY; Ray (Elise) Layton; Deborah (Gordon) Boothe, Layton; Melanie (Lee) Abrams, West Point; Brad (Holly), Syracuse; Stephanie (Boyd) Anderson, MN; Jackie Beck, Boulder, CO; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Rosalie (Larry) Wood, and brother, Cal Whitesides.
She was preceded in death by her parents and eternal companion, James S. Beck.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville 18th Ward, 1085 N. 50 E., Kaysville. Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
