Charlotte Barrus Heaton

Charlotte Heaton Charlotte Betty Barrus Heaton, 80, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2007 in Bountiful, Utah, surrounded by all her children. She was born April 4, 1927 in American Falls, Idaho the daughter of Benjamin Harrison and Jessie Mildred Black Barrus. She graduated from Ammon High School in Idaho. Charlotte married Orlande David Heaton January 11, 1951 in the Logan LDS Temple and together they raised their family in the Concord, California area. Later they relocated to Vernal, Utah where they lived for 12 years before moving to Bountiful, Utah. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served an 18 month mission as a young woman in the East Central States Mission. She held various callings throughout her lifetime and served in numerous family history and church service missions together with her husband. She enjoyed family history research and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband; children Londa Gene (Dale) Frankis, David (Sandy) Heaton, Jennifer (Kendall) Hepworth, Timothy (Judy) Heaton, Suzanne (Bruce) Plympton, Kimberly (David) Kaapro and Stephanie (Michael) Anderson; 43 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Also survived by siblings Shirley Birkhead, Harrison Barrus, Carolyn Kimber, and Roslyn Sharp. Preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Eiren Fritz and great-grandson Aidan Fritz. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2007 at the Bountiful 28th Ward, 2285 South 200 West. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. and 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
