Charlotte Lujan Perea

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was called home on Saturday, April 12, 2008 after suffering from diabetes and congestive heart failure.

She was born August 10, 1927 in Frances, Colorado, a daughter of Rose Archibeque and Vincente Lujan Jr.

On May 29, 1940, Charlotte married John Perea in Park View, New Mexico.

She was a member of the Church of God where she held various positions.

Charlotte enjoyed being with her family and friends. Her hobbies were crocheting and embroidering and she was an excellent cook.

Grandma, we will miss you so very much. Thank you for everything you taught us and for always being there.

Surviving are her daughter, Martha (Joe, deceased) Gutierrez, and son, Matthew (Lupe) Perea, all of Roy; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Barbara (Albert) Guevara, Salt Lake City; Carmen (Paul, deceased) Perea, Grand Junction, CO; Angie (Ron) Sirek, Kent WA; Viola (Al) Pando, Salt Lake City; two brothers, Mike Lujan, Boise, ID; and James (Emma) Lujan, Farmington, NM.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters.

The family wishes to thank all of the staff at Heritage Park and Rest Easy for the care of our mother.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 19th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. with Reverend Paul A. Perea officiating the service from 7 to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
