FARR WEST a€" Charmaine Willis Welling, 76, died Saturday, April 3, 2010 at her home in Farr West.

She was born June 23, 1933 in Laramie, Wyoming, a daughter of Andrew Wesley and Amy Elizabeth Porter Willis.

Charmaine married Charles Lyman Welling on November 24, 1954 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Charles preceded her in death on August 12, 2000.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many callings throughout the years including an Ogden Temple worker.

Charmaine was active in music and theater, which she loved. Most of all, she loved being a mother and grandmother. She loved to serve others and had a constant smile and a wonderful sense of humor. She also loved baking and being a homemaker.

Surviving are five sons and two daughters, Wendell Welling, Richard Welling, Daryl Welling, Andrew Welling, Myron Welling, Brenda Rust, Alice Welling, 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two brothers, Bob Willis and Ron Willis.

Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Friends may call at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd., on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
