Cherie Lynn Manus Borg

Cherie Lynn Manus Borg passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the age of 58.

She was born November 2, 1955 at Hill Air Force Base in Davis County, Utah to Ernest Lee Manus and Marva Bowden Manus. She attended Ogden High School and Davis Weber Applied Technology Center.

Cherie married Mark Borg on December 21, 1972 in Ogden, Utah. Together they had three children: Jason, Angie, and Shannon.

She loved to read, do crafts, camp and spend time with her grandchildren. She also had quite a collection of spoons from around the globe.

Cherie is survived by her mother Marva Bowden Manus; children, Jason Borg, Angie Borg, Shannon (Rick) Lucero; four grandsons and five granddaughters. She is also survived by her siblings, Patricia (Les), Rick (Tammy), Mike, and Ron (DeDe).

She was preceded in death by her father, Earnes Lee Manus.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday July 14th at the South Ogden LDS 5th – 6th Ward, 4380 Orchard Avenue. The family will meet with friends on Sunday, July 13th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
