Cherrill Jardine Clark, 94, passed away March 13, 2018 at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah.
She was born June 19, 1923 in Clarkston, Utah the daughter of John S. and Maggie Marvella Jardine. She graduated from North Cache High School.
Cherrill married Volmer T. Clark on March 21, 1945 in the Logan LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on June 28, 1992.
She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving as chorister in the Clarkston Ward for 17 years. She always loved music and directed the choir for the dedication of the Martin Harris Amphitheatre. Music was her passion and she loved playing the piano and the organ
Cherrill was the Controller at Jardine Petroleum for 30 years, and took pride in her bookkeeping accuracy. She enjoyed her association with the employees and customers.
She loved cooking and baking cookies and pies for her family and friends. She was an avid Jazz fan and rarely missed a game. She and Volmer loved traveling and spending the winters in St. George. After his death Cherrill moved to St. George and had many enjoyable memories there. She made friends wherever she went.
Surviving are her brother, Sterling (Lisa) Jardine and sister-in-law, Annette Jardine. Although she did not have children of her own she felt like a mother to all of her nephews and nieces.
Preceded in death by her husband, brother Clyde Jardine, nephew Steven Jardine and niece Keli Oldroyd.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Clarkston Cemetery.
