Our loving mother, daughter, wife and friend, Christie Jean Berbert Spangenberg, 34, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013.

She was born September 10, 1978 in Provo, Utah to Alan D and Linda J Berbert. She grew up in Farmington, Utah and graduated from Davis High School and the University of Utah. She worked a variety of jobs and was recently a representative for Damsels in Distress.

She married Jared W Reynolds in 1999 and in 2001 Parker was born then later they divorced. In May of 2010 Christie married Ian Spangenberg.

Christie had a flair for fashion and decorating. She baked and decorated cakes for many birthdays and weddings. Christie was a lover of horses, cats, dogs and a fan of country western music, the rodeo and cowboys. She enjoyed the outdoors by horseback riding, hiking, camping, mountain biking and skiing. But most of all she loved being a mom to 12 year old Parker. Christie had a flair for fashion and decorating.

Survived by her beloved son, Parker Reynolds, husband, Ian Spangenberg Kaysville, UT; mother, Linda Johnson (Wayne), Kaysville, UT; father, Alan Berbert (Rhonda), Boulder City, NV; brothers, Chad Berbert (Anne), Apia, Samoa; Tyler Berbert, Palo Alto, CA; Tyson Johnson (Natalie), Lehi, UT; sisters, Jamie Berbert, Lake Tahoe, CA; Lori Fletcher (Dana), Layton, UT; and Jenny Hawthorn (Mark), Ogden, UT.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. Friends may visit Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
