Christine Pectol Behunin

Christine Pectol Behunin passed away Monday, February 27, 2023 at 8:20 a.m. in Roy, Utah of Cirrhosis of the liver and Cystic fibrosis.

She began her life in American Fork, born to her parents, Byron and Virgina Pectol. She was the third of four children.

After attending American Fork High she served a full time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in South Korea.

She graduated from cosmetology school as well.

One of her favorite possessions was her special ordered 82’ baby blue Pontiac Firebird. Once she met Matt her biggest adventure would start, and boy was it a big one. She helped raise and love ten children. Her love of crafting lead her to her favorite job at KD Craft.

She held many callings throughout her life with the church and enjoyed everyone she came in contact with.

She was preceded by many including her father, Byron, mother, Virgina, sister, Barbra, sister, Diana, and nephew, Jeffery.

She is survived by her spouse, Matt and children: Jay (Rose), Ben (Adrienne), Janet (formerly George), Lee (Hailey), Jeff, Angela (Mark), Mark (Bethany), Gloria (Joshua), Curt (Rich, Tom), and Mikelle (Brent), 32 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her brother, Doug (Nancy), (Duone) and 14 nieces and nephews.

We will be having a celebration of her life on March 6 th at 12 o’clock. The address is 5080 South 3100 West Roy, Utah.
