Christine Turnbull Jensen-Buehler

Christine Turnbull Jensen-Buehler passed away January 20, 2025. She was born February 7, 1924, to Leon D and Beatrice Stearns Turnbull in Orleans, Vermont. She was the second of four children. Christine graduated from Orleans High School in 1941 and Lasell Junior College in 1943. She married John W Jensen March 3, 1945, in Columbia, South Carolina. They had five children, Robert, Janet, John Jr (dec’d) Sandra (dec’d) and Jeffrey.

She married Carl D Buehler, April 7, 1993, in Ogden, Utah.

She retired from Internal Revenue in 1986. She loved to play golf and bridge. Chris was a member of the Congregational Church her entire life.

Chris is survived by her three children, Robert Jensen (Ruby) of Houston, Texas, Janet Larson (Rick) of Draper, Jeffrey Jensen (Gayle) of Ogden; 19 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; 5 stepchildren, Barbara Messerly (Ross), Gina Robins (Randy), JoAnn Daniels (Rick), Larry Buehler (Daria), and Gary Buehler, many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Jensen; son, John Jensen Jr.; daughter, Sandra Hunter; granddaughter, Christine Jensen; grandson, John Jensen III; her second husband, Carl Buehler; stepsons, Doug and John Buehler.

Cremation under the direction of Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
