Christopher "Troy" Craig

Christopher Troy Craig, our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, passed from this life peacefully on Saturday, December 8, 2012. Troy was born in Ogden, Utah on Christmas Day, 1980.

Troy was a graduate of Ogden High School. He was also a graduate of Weber State University, where he excelled as a member of the school''s racquetball team.

In his youth, Troy was active in the Boy Scouts, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. That achievement was but one facet of his generous, loving and curious spirit.

Troy loved the outdoors. As an avid geo-caching enthusiast, he explored the Wasatch Mountains, its canyons and beyond.

Troy had an insightful sense of humor. His laugh was hearty and warm. We never could hear it enough. His smile would always light up the room and bring laughter.

He was a devoted son, brother and friend. His family loved him unconditionally. He spent his adulthood working to enhance the family business. He was an engaging colleague who was never satisfied with the status quo and was forever innovating.

Troy began life as a child full of wonder. That spark burned inside him to the last, despite long-suffering from the pain of physical injuries that he sustained in an ATV accident. Now he is pain free.

Troy is survived by his parents Edwin and Kristine Craig; his brothers and sisters, Laurie Bray, Natalie Craig, Greta (Mark) Alvarez, Russell Torrison, Cory (Lara) Craig, and Ryan (Lynette) Craig, and his 7 nephews and 2 nieces.

He was preceded in death by his beloved Gran, Muriel Nye and brother Shane.

A private service was held on Friday, December 14, 2012.

Services entrusted to Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary.

And now, May the courage of The early morning''s dawning The strength of the eternal hills The wide open fields, the silent streams And the love of the family And the beauty of the flowered gardens The peace of the evening''s ending And of the midnight Be with you now and forever.
