OGDEN a€" Christopher Lee Orr, 35, died Friday, October 2, 2009 in Ogden.

He was born April 25, 1974 in Pomona, California, a son of Renate Mudrow and William M. Orr.

Chris was an oil mechanic for Jiffy Lube.

Chris was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved the scouting program and all the activities that were associated with the program.

He was an outstanding athlete and loved playing all sports. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in the outdoors. Most of all, he loved spending time with his kids. Chris had a great sense of humor and was very animated when trying to explain stories.

Chris struggled in life with mental illness. He and his family want others to know that it''s a serious disease and should be taken seriously. Chris was very loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

Surviving are his children, Braxton Orr, Renden Bills, Bailey Orr and Jaclyn Graham; his fiancAC., Ashley Lemmon; mother and stepfather, Renate and Calvin Lee Buttars; his father, William M. Orr; and his siblings, Michael (Sally) Buttars, West Haven; Myra (Courtney) Cluff, Woods Cross; Aaron (Brenda) Buttars, Marriott-Slaterville; Daniel (Terri) Buttars, Layton; Misti (Sean) Conorich, Roy; David (Lynnett) Buttars, Washington State; Jody (Tallie) Buttars, Salt Lake City; Norbert (Chrystyl) Buttars, Bountiful; T.J. (Heidi) Peace, Syracuse; Jamin (Sasha) Buttars, and Tim Buttars, both of Bountiful; Jake (Trudy) Wheeler, Herriman.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate Chris''s life.
